Effect of Pulse Parameters on the Microstructural Evolution and Properties of Jet Electrodeposited Cu–Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> Nanocomposite Coating

Cu–Al2O3 composite coatings were prepared in the use of pulse jet electrodeposition technology. Pulse current parameters including duty cycle and frequency researched about their effects on microstructure variation Al2O3 nanoparticles content coating. The mechanical properties anti-corrosion resistance coating examined. results show that properly decreasing raising are able to generate a compact fine nanocrystalline increase incorporation coating, which is beneficial strengthen properties. With optimal parameter combination as 30% 11000 Hz, co-deposited reaches maximum 14.4 at%, with highest hardness 308 HV tensile strength 755 MPa. optimized also displays improved corrosion resistance.
